DESCRIPTION:  Hayden Homes plans to develop a new 53-lot subdivision In Harrisburg, Oregon. The subdivision will be located on a currently undeveloped parcel south of Sommerville Loop near the south end of Harrisburg. The proposed development will include single-family residences which we assume will consist of single- to two-story, wood-frame structures. The improvements will also include construction of new paved streets, sidewalks, and a stormwater detention pond. The parcel was previously farmland and a residence which will be demolished.

SERVICE:  Foundation Engineering completed exploratory test pits, field and laboratory testing, and a technical memorandum. The memorandum included a description of our work, a discussion of site conditions, the test pit logs, and laboratory test results. Recommendations for subgrade preparation, placement and compaction of site fill, appropriate parameters for the design and construction of the new foundations, building pads, and geotechnical recommendations for preparation of garage and floor slabs and new paved roads were also included.
