DESCRIPTION:  Midstate Electric Cooperative plans to make improvements to its existing facilities. The improvements include constructing a new, self-supporting monopole on a 5 to 6-foot diameter drilled shaft extending 30 to 35 feet below the surface and a new electrical substation. This will be at their location near the intersection of Hwy 97 and Hwy 138 in Klamath County, Oregon.

SERVICE:  Foundation Engineering, Inc. conducted field exploration, field and laboratory testing, engineering analysis, and completion of a technical memorandum. The memorandum summarized the results of our investigation, L-pile analysis and design and construction recommendations.
