DESCRIPTION:  ODOT plans to replace a failed culvert on Sandy Creek Road at approximately MP 2.54.Coos County received Federal Emergency Repair funds to replace the failed Sandy Creek Road Culvert that carries a tributary to Sandy Creek. The project includes the full replacement of a failed culvert and full reconstruction of Sandy Creek Road with a new roadway section. The replacement bridge will be a 32-foot-long by 28-foot-wide single-span prestressed concrete slab bridge with GRS abutments.

SERVICE:  Foundation Engineering, Inc. conducted a geotechnical and pavement field investigation to explore the surface and subsurface conditions in the proposed improvement areas, area of pavement rehabilitation and new pavement construction, and surface and subsurface conditions in the area of an existing and potential slope instability. We provided documentation which summarized and presents the results of the investigation, analyses, and recommendations.
